3 - Rerouting the air intake pipe

Volkswagen Pick-up/Double cab

with Diesel and Turbo-Diesel

engine

 

For technical reasons the combustion air is drawn In on the left side over the rear wheel.  When vehicle is to be used in dusty regions it is advisable therefore to route the air intake pipe to the cab in addition to installing the cyclone filter.

1 - Intake cowl (610 129 695)	7 - Clips (Qty. 7)
2 - Plastic pipe 75 mm 0 800 mm long	a - Rubber mountings (Qty. 5) (803 121 275 A)
3 - Elbow for pipe 75 mm 0	9 - 80 mm 0 (make in load compartment floor)
4 - Plastic pipe 75 mm 0 850 mm long *	10 - Protection plate for pipe
5 - Silencer (251 255 356)	11 - Existing intake pipe
6 - Plastic pipe 75 mm 0 980 mm long	12 - 90 mm 0 hole (make in partition)

 

 

 

 

Parts 1, 5 and 8 are original parts - all other parts are normal commercial parts.
